Norwegian Cruise?
I asked this question before, but I decided to ask him in a different category. My friends and I are on the Norwegian Spirit March for Spring Break, and we are both 18th How is the cruise? I do not walk around drunk college people. I’m just looking for opinions of people on the cruise and ship!

I recently sailed on the Norwegian Pearl and in my experience, the crowd was much older and more “mature” than Carnival or RC. I would say about 70% of the people were over 50. However, being a spring break cruise, I’m sure there will be a younger crowd with college kids and families too. I’ve never had a bad experience with obnoxious people on cruise ships.

The Spirit is a great ship. I have sailed on her many times. 2 years ago she was in dry dock for a complete make over. People look for different things in a cruise ship. I found her to be great in layout, crew and even with the number of people on board there are places besides your cabin to find a place to relax. No one can say for sure how people will react on any cruise but, in general it is like any place else if it gets to loud you just go someplace else. Back 3 decks are all open with alot of places to enjoy the view & deck 12 forward pass the dance floor alot of windows a nice comfortable chaire to relax. Deck 7 on the way to the casino a great place to get a hamburger, fries etc. I think she is NCL’s best but, thats just me.
ENJOY.

I have cruised on the NCL’s Spirit and about 7 other NCL ships. The Spirit is a nice ship but by no means the best of NCL’s fleet. The ship was actually launched as the Star and cruised in Asian ports before being bought by NCL. Therefore you will find that a lot of the paintings and decorations on ship are oriental, kinda like a Chinese/Asian restaurant. I liked the ship OK and enjoyed my cruise on it. But it is by no means among the best ships out there now cruising.
NCL typically has a more reserved group of passengers than the party boats have, Carnival Cruise line. In my experience the passengers were older, in the 40 to 60 range mostly, and more reserved. But they do like to have a good time. There will likely be some families with kids, but there is a kids pool/hot tub and play area on the back of the ship. It would only be a guess if I said you will or will not have a bunch of college kids on Spring Break. There is just no way to be certain. But, its been my experience with NCL that there is rarely any rowdiness and drunkenness. So you will likely have a lovely cruise.

i’ve been on a norwegian cruise to alaska last summer and a caribean one with royal carribean.
now the norwegian was by far the better cruiseline
not a whole lote of children
not a whole lot of drunk people
in fact i cannot remeber ever seeing one person drunk or acting rudely or arrgonatly
also with the norwegian you get the option of freestyle cruising which basically means your ship will have a few different restaurants
where as other cruises only have one dining room
it was very nice
im sure youll enjoy your trip
try this site for more stuff and reviews its very helpful
