South of the airport about 5 miles is a Motel 6,
it is about the cheapest and decent place in the SF area.
I think it’s in Belmont??
Make reservations on the internet.
You have rental car there are parking lots in SF but it gets very expensive. You can take either the commuter train or BART in and out
of SF.
Ask at whatever motel/hotel you stay for general info. They are helpful.

check the discount websites for hotels, you can usually find a decent hotel for $75 to $100. for San Francisco this is a good price. also you might want to consider staying outside of the city, prices will drop. and be careful which part of town you choose.

If you’re open to few amenities, you might consider a hostel. You can get private group rooms (reserved well in advance).
