Tybee Island is a great beach spot for families. We like staying at the Ocean Plaza Beach Resort. It’s got a couple of pools and is on the beach. They also have 3-bedroom condo rentals which can make family travel much easier.

It is About 20 miles out side there are some good restaraunts and decent hotels.
If you want to avoid a crowded beach go to the Tybee creek. It is all the way down the main street(Butler Avenue) than veer of onto Inlet Ave.
There are also plenty of dolphin, kayaking and deep sea fishing tours to do
You can visit Fort Pulaski and the Tybee lighthouse
My favorite restraunt is the Breakfast Club you have to try it(get there early or the line will be to long)
