MU Extension conference to help rural communities develop local economy through tourism
Missouri University of Missouri Extension will host a cultural heritage tourism conference April 21 to 23 in Chamois. At “Capitalizing on Your Community’s Heritage: Tourism for Local Economic Development,” rural community leaders can learn how to take advantage of local history to attract tourists.

Olmos Park council reaches end on two controversies
City Council met on March 1 to review Sunshine Cottage School for Deaf Children’s final plans to mitigate excess drainage from its new campus. Council also approved new ways to prevent a resident from further renting his home out to short-term vacationers.
