No, you’ll fall in love with the place. Especially don’t set foot on the Atlantis resort. :)
I went in March and everyday I ask when we’re going back.

Id say its worth it.
I am going on a 4 night cruise in July to the Bahamas. Cant wait!
Some information about the cruise lines though……
Royal Caribbean is suppose to be one of the better cruise lines. But, currently the monarch of the seas and majesty of the seas, are their only ships sailing to the Bahamas. These are 2 older ships, with less things to do.
The cruise line depends on what you want to do, you could go with Carnival cruise lines, and you could take the carnival sensation ship, which has a lot more things to do, but it is probably a lot more crowded.
Pretty much, Go with Royal Caribbean if your looking for a more relaxing and party-like cruise. Go with the Carnival if your looking for more things to do, and a more party like cruise.
Don’t get me wrong, Royal Caribbean has some nice/fun ships, but the two ships that are currently sailing to the Bahamas are their oldest running ships.
The ship that I am taking is actually Royal Caribbean, Monarch of the seas. For two reasons.
1. Carnival will not let someone under 21 years of age stay in a room without someone at least 25 (unless your a married couple, or in active military). Lamest rule ever, im 19 and my girlfriend is 21 yet I cant take her on a cruise?!?!”
2. The monarch of the seas has less to do, but was cheaper for us, and looks more relaxing. Which is what we wanted.
Now that I got all that cruise info out of the way…..
Id say its worth it. Although ive never been to the Bahamas, this will be my first time. It looks like its going to be amazing and I hear good things about it.
Also, we got an ocean view stateroom. It was only like 40$ more

I was on a week long one to the Caribbean islands Bahamas included and I lived it. very fun and I was like 12 maybe 14 at the time and around the same area last Christmas I am 15 we went on Royal Caribbean cruise line. went snorkeling and scuba diving lot of port adventures to choose from also sign up for the port excursions early and when at the end to the trip there are envelopes to tip some of the people like head and assistant waiter/ess and the person who makes up the room what you and others tip is their pay they have no flat rate salary so what they get form the customers is their salary!!! on our cruise they had day activities planned for sea days ( do not know if you will have any ) I have also herd that Carnival is fun too
