The only thing about going in the spring and early summer is that it is hurricane season. It starts in the Pacific Ocean in mid-May. I always cruise in the winter or very early spring and the weather is fantastic. It is also much less crowded at ports and on the boat and there are very less children on board if that is something that appeals to you. I definately reccomend late fall, winter and early spring.

i would stay away from the bahamas from late june thru the beginning of november. its hurricane season and i’ve heard that there can be a lot of rain during those months. if you want to go somewhere beautiful and NEVER have to worry about the weather, try aruba. its below the hurricane belt and the weather is a guarantee !! i was there with my friends a few years back in march and the weather was gorgeous. if you are set on the bahamas, go in april or may. the prices are good then too. feb and march gets expensive cause its spring break.
