How much would it cost to get to bristol by car ?
Im going to bristol airport from plymouth and my friend says it is going to cost us a lot of money in her car which is a 1. 2 toyota auris. i said it will only be about £25 there and back but she wont believe me any one that has experince out there that could help me convince her ?
According to Autoroute, Plymouth to Bristol Airport is approx’ 108 miles. Assuming that the Auris does 35 miles to the gallon on motorway driving, and 25 to the gallon on city/town driving, and that the cost of the fuel is around £1.10 a litre (which it is where I live) then the cost each way is in the region of £16 which makes a round trip there and back approx’ £32 for the two of you…which is cheaper than a train or coach.
