We received our tickets for a Carnival cruise, the luggage tags are different colors, what do the colors mean?

could be loading order or unloading order. When you get off a ship you get off in shifts. The colors tell the baggage handlers which group you are in. But, i think they give you the unloading tags your last day on the ship. So, it might be your loading order. They don’t want everyone going on the ship at the same time. they load in groups too. Or, it could be the section of the ship you’re on.
