my dad worked in the airport in the luggage loading area, he said that all other airlines had very strict regulations and checkups and that everything was looked over many times, but aeroflot was the one airline that didnt do this, so he has said for many yrs that he would rather be shot than go on an aeroflot flight lol
They have gotten a few Boeing aircraft now which might be Okay. Those Russian made ones are already over grossed weight wise even before the passengers and luggage are loaded.
I think they have gotten better. Aeroflot has bought some new aircraft. Though I would probably prefer flying another airline, you should be all right if you fly with them.
