what to do in the Poconos and where to go I need help?

Privately owned cabins are hard to get with only two months notice although if you can find one they are usually the best. I would look on craigslist to see if anyone is renting out a place for the weekend you are looking for. As far as skiing goes the Poconos are great! there are several ski resorts located all around the area. The only one I have been to is camel mountain resort which was very nice. They kept the lifts moving and the trails were very clearly marked. If you have your own skis or know anyone that you could rent or borrow from take advantage of that because the resorts charge insane fees for rental. Hope this helps!
