I think they are incredibly romantic, cheaper and fun, especially when family and friends come too.
For our family, everyone is coming as their summer vacation. If we had a wedding hear it would cost us like over $20,000. There it is costing $11,000 and that includes the honeymoon. So you are wrong on the expense.
