Bangkok Hotels- I Once Was Lost But Now I’m Found
0The final day
The final day of my stay in Thailand came to an abrupt end actually, not only was I pleasantly surprised to find myself driven in a luxury limousine to the airport, but I was also escorted by simply the most beautiful Thai lady I had ever met. I hoped she was coming with me. To be honest, I wasnât quite sure where I was during my stay here in Bangkok, after being laid up in hospital for part of my holiday, then waking in a hotel room perhaps days or perhaps weeks later. It wasnât until I was actually on my way home that I realized the full gravity of the situation that had passed. After all, I could have been killed.
The people of Bangkok are not exactly famed for their safe driving practises. Tuks Tuks, taxis, family-straddled-mopeds and buses weave in and out like spiders in a thread of intricacy that only local Bangkokians themselves believe to be great driving skills. So to be involved in an accident here, especially when you had counted on hiring a car and driving for while should really come as no surprise to anyone. Â Precisely what had happened is anyoneâs guess. I remember leaving my hotel that morning on whichever date it was. I remember looking at hotel boutiques and I remember getting in to my hire-car and driving along the hotel and boutique areas of the Sukhumvit Road. But as far as
what happened after that, who knows. The police didnât, the other vehicle if there indeed was one, had fled the scene. No witnesses, so there we have it. My stay in the local hospital and my consequent return to the Tai-Pan hotel (I had previously been able to find and book into), were-as it turned out- very pleasant retreats from the bustle-bustle of the mad Bangkok streets. I had a most comfortable bed, delicious food and great views of Bangkok and the surrounding areas, including parks of lush green and birds in song and all the nature you could find. And although I was pretty much concussed and incapacitated with a broken arm and injured leg I was well enough to be escorted by the wonderful staff of the hotel for a stroll in the gardens or to the hotel boutiques and stores- a real find.  As the days ran by here, I had the feeling I was on some strange journey of enlightenment that had been printed in the lines of some exotic novel of far eastern lands. I had no friends but didnât feel lonely, I had no urge to call anyone and let them know what had happened but felt no concern. I hadnât died and wasnât too seriously injured. And although the wave of my thoughts undulated up and down like a calm tsunami, I felt a sense of peace and tranquillity that I had never had in all my life. So as we drove slowly back to the airport, courtesy of the Tai-Pan, accompanied by this lovely lady I said âThere is one last thing Iâd like to doâ¦I havenât seen the Grand Palace yetâ.  In fact Iâd seen nothing of Bangkok, so as we drove onwards towards the Grand Palace complex and surrounding Sunamluang Park Gardens I can honestly say contently I was glad Iâd come here, this was a holiday Iâd never forget.

Bachelorette Party Atlantic City
0Atlantic City Bachelorette Party
We recently went to Atlantic City with our Bachelorette Party. We seemed so overwhelmed with all the things to do but could not really settle on bachelorette party ideas that focused us all in one area and this was a major problem because we had 22 girls in our group. The Atlantic City night clubs didn’t even care that we were coming with a large group and the receptionist said the best he could do was $20 down from $35 each. What? The night clubs near the small town in Pennsylvania where we live would comp the whole group and buy us a round of drinks for bringing in so many girls plus to tell the truth, we are not all that well off to be throwing around a couple of hundred each for one night.
In any case we asked our concierge at our hotel what he suggested for bachelorette party ideas in Atlantic City and he immediately blurtted out, “Try the Savage Men Male Strip Show. ” He slid me a postcard and we noticed that our hotel was only a few blocks away from the male strip show. The whole package thing that was offered seemed to be an amazing fit for our bachelorette party. First we could all walk there right from the boardwalk which meant no cab fees or lines then the addmission price covered a $2 drink special and VIP after party at the male strip club as well as FREE admission into Taj Mahals Casba night club. Wow!
The Male Strip Show
When we arrived at the male strip club there was already a line of over a hundred girls so we hurried over. There were male exotic dancers outside taking pictures with the girls on line and mingling. They were so hot that some of the girls kept sneaking under the ropes to try and get hugs and individual pictures with the men. By the time we got inside we already were so excited that I felt a little light headed. There were male dancers dancing on these elevated platforms in tiny lepard shorts and a video playing on a huge screen. Massage men were walking around giving the girls back and neck rubs.
The show was about to start as the host told everyone to take a their seats. The opening was incredible with a combination of lights, sound and video presentations. The crowds roar was defening and our bachelorette party jumped up from their seats. The male strippers preformed a sexy four man opening striptease that had us drooling. Each act that followed had incredible gorgeous male strippers with to die for bodies. We got our bachelorette up on stage for a hot seat and she had the time of her life. A little later in the strip show there was a funny bachelorette style contest for the bachelorettes. Our bachelorette came in second place but still won a bottle of champagne.
The After Bachelorette Party – Party
After the show we slugged down a few $2 drinks and some of the girls got lap dances from the male strippers near the VIP area. The club was booming and the other bachelorette parties were dancing on a packed dance floor. The club started to let guys in as we hit the boardwalk for a smoke. By this time it was 130am and we decided to walk over to the Taj which was only a few blocks down right on the boardwalk. The ocean air rejuvenated us as we stumbled along. At the Taj we had no problem getting in and the bouncers opened the ropes for us and escorted us to the front of the line when we showed them our Savagemen wrist bands. This place was packed and the music was incredible. The energy was great as well. I looked over at our bachelorette and she had a smile ear to ear and all I could think about was what an incredible night not for just us but for her last night out.
Great all in one Bachelorette party Atlantic City destinations.
