How should I pack a raw Rib Roast for Air Travel?
I will be air traveling from Omaha to San Fran with an hr layover, about 7 hrs travel time total. I want to bring a raw rib roast with me, which I plan to check in. How should I pack it?

2. Buy a small Styrofoam cooler and put the badged roast in with a dry ice pack or other cold pack.

Alternative: Buy a insulated bag ($3 to $5) – Put the badged meat with an ice pack in there. Put it all into a suit case or other baggage. Just ensure that it will not leak blood.
