Does anyone know a great wedding chapel in Las Vegas?
I was looking into the Viva Las Vegas Wedding packages, but I read reviews and a lot of them said the chapel was really run down. Any other suggestions?

First off – Congrats! I was married in Las Vegas myself in May at the Mandalay Bay. There are a lot of hotels that have nice chapels – so it really depends on your style and what you’re looking for. The Paris is french themed, Planet Hollywood has a modern chapel, Mandalay is neutrals with dark modern design, Venitian is just…well expensive. Most of the hotels have some great packages with a lot of price variation. Look out for “upgrades” and make sure the digital negatives (if you want them) are part of the package you’re looking at. Mandalay says you get a CD with the photos, but that is just some of them, and in a format you can’t reproduce.
The main thing you’ll need to do when planning long distance is follow your gut. If your consultant sounds disorganized, she probably is – don’t be afraid to be a “bridezilla” and replace her (most places will provide one with the package – just ask for someone else). I didn’t – and ended up with MANY errors with my wedding – including not having a photographer at my reception. Its your day – and don’t be afraid to double and triple check everything. That way you can relax and enjoy your day. Good Luck!
