Chance of getting ID checked on Princess Cruise Line?
I am 18 and will be going on a Princess Cruise this July. I have gone on cruises when I was 16 and 17 on NCL, and was never checked. However, NCL allows 18 year olds to drink beer and wine. I look older than 18, but what are my changes of getting checked?
You will be checked. First, you ID that you must register(your passport) has your date of birth on it. They check these very close. Then your cruise card that everybody gets is marked to show you are not 21. Princess DOES NOT allow anyone under 21 to drink. What your parents allow you to do in your cabin is up to them. From what I understand, no where in the United States are you allowed to drink until you are 21 and that includes international waters too. Europe is a different story. The person that said you can drink in international waters is very very wrong.
