Are there any inexpensive Florida beach vacation rentals?
3 kids + cat and $400 a week beach vacation budget, is it possible? Any ideas?
We tried home exchange but most people think twice before accepting a family with 3 kids, or we usually end up in a “less desired” areas. Could anyone suggest any other ways to have a decent beach vacation on a super tight budget?
I’d take a look at Owner Direct Vacation Rentals. You can usually find a great deal there, especially if you wait til close to the time you want to go. They’ve got hundreds and hundreds of places in Florida, just go to their Florida vacation rentals page: http://www.ownerdirect.com/accommodation/florida, and start searching around. Hopefully you can find what you’re looking for.
The other thing you can do is try their Last Minute Deals page: http://www.ownerdirect.com/search/last-minute-deals/list.asp and see what’s available in Florida. That page changes all the time, so you never know what you might find!
