Could you please give advice on telling someone you like them?

Hello,
I’m not exactly sure what to do:
Basically I really like this girl and there is a decent chance she likes me back, but she goes to a different school to me. The girl gave me her email address, but unfortunately her computer is broken at the moment so for now thats not much use. But for all I know their computer might get fixed tomorrow so yeah. . .

Her older (1 year older) sister goes to my school and I’m friends with her too. It’s the school holidays at the moment so I could wait two weeks and speak to her sister, about what she thinks (is this a good idea considering I’m friends with her too, or would it be weird to talk to her sister about it?) and get their phone number from her if she thinks it’s a good idea, or get her to pass on a message or something like that?

I’ve also looked up their family in the phonebook to call her but as I didn’t remember all the info I’ve only managed to narrow it down to 3 numbers, and that’s presuming they have a listed number. I could just go through and call them all sometime and hopefully get her. If I do this I don’t know what to say though (any ideas – we’re both 14 turning 15?).

So really what’s best: Wait two weeks till school goes back and talk to her sister and depending on what she says get their number off her or ask her to pass on a message (and in the mean time hope they get their computer fixed), or try calling the numbers to find her and then see about going to the movies or sailing or something (as we both do it)? What do you think would be best?
Thanks.
