Are there any inexpensive Florida beach vacation rentals?

2

3 kids + cat and $400 a week beach vacation budget, is it possible? Any ideas?

We tried home exchange but most people think twice before accepting a family with 3 kids, or we usually end up in a “less desired” areas. Could anyone suggest any other ways to have a decent beach vacation on a super tight budget?

Its graduation time again and your high school grad or college grad has worked hard to earn their degree, why not reward them for all the hard work and effort that they have put into earning their education. Now that your teenager is growing out of high school and into college, give them a lasting gift that they will use for a lifetime. Every parent should always congratulate their graduate with the gift of durable lasting luggage. What more could be useful to them at this stage in their life? Whether they are moving on to graduate school, a collage freshman, or out to their own life away from your home, they could definitely use some durable and functional luggage. Now the question is which brand. Don’t bother with those knock offs on the durable brands like Samsonite luggage or Eagle Creek luggage. Buy the best for your children, but that doesn’t mean you have to spend a fortune. Here are a few tips on you can save on buying brand name luggage without paying the huge prices.
Try buying online! For example, you decide that the Samsonite luggage would be best for your graduate. Get online and use any search engine and just type in “Samsonite luggage” and will get a ton of websites that will help you save money on your purchase. Places that offer as much as eight five percent off of select Samsonite luggage to as little as twenty percent off on luggage with a special promotional code. There are other savings such as free shipping on items or price matching. Or entire collections of Samsonite luggage with seventy five percent off, free shipping and handling, as well as hassle free returns. There are tons of sales, discounts, promotions, and savings you can get online you just have to know where to search.
So say your graduate is into race car driving, and loves NASCAR. Maybe they are a huge fan of Danica Patrick. From advertisements online for Samsonite luggage you can learn that Danica Patrick picked the Samsonite Silhouette 10 spinner for her luggage. You can find the same garment bag for usually four hundred and seventy dollars, but at this site it is only two hundred and seventy nine dollars and ninety nine cents. This makes your NASCAR lover happy to have their favorite driver’s suitcase and it more affordable for you. Plus with an extra ten percent off discount and free shipping, it is now more than ever easier to please your graduate. Buying luggage online makes it better than waiting for the big promotional sales at the department stores in the nearby malls. It is easier to shop online as it saves you gas money when you don’t have to make a trip to the store, so convenient and readily available to you online.
So as graduation rolls around, make sure that you can roll in some great prices for the luggage you plan to give to them. They will thank you as they use that luggage for the rest of their life. Your child will remember you every time they use their luggage and will be grateful that they have such loving parents. Do the right thing. Get your graduate a gift they can use for the rest of their lives, a gift that keep giving every time they use it. Don’t waste you money on some statute that they won’t appreciate, or a card with words they will forget years later, instead by them a life long durable luggage that will help take them around the world to fulfill their hopes and dreams.

Tips for Amazing Airfare Prices

0

In our day and age, this is one of the easiest things to do. As long as you have at least a small amount of patience and the most basic Internet skills to search a few different websites. It also helps to be ready to arrive at your destination a few days early or to leave a few days late, which increases the range of prices.

Buying tickets far in advance of the actual date that you will be leaving always helps. It is actually the best way to get a cheaper ticket, no matter where you buy the ticket or who you buy it from. Buying a ticket 15 days in advance will make things a lot easier on your budget, rather than buying it only four days in advance. You may not even be able to find a seat if you wait too long, not to mention it will be a much higher price. Stay away from buying tickets unless you are buying it at least a week or more in advance.

Which day you schedule the flight on can also have adverse effects on the pricing. The middle days of the week usually have the best deals available. People are always flying on the weekends, whether they are taking a weekend vacation or coming home from a business trip. The time of day is important too. Try to pick a flight between the days Tuesday and Thursday and between the times of 5AM and 1PM.

Go ahead and sign up for notifications of special deals on low airfares. Now you are set to do even less work. This will keep you informed on the best airfares and schedules. Of course, you can always choose to search through the big travel websites. The largest websites dealing with travel have made deals with airlines so they are able to give the best prices around. Be sure to check more than one site or you are just limiting yourself.

Some websites also use specialized programming to let you search the best fares available on any travel website. They even compare the prices, the scheduling. You can basically choose whichever options you want to see compared. These are powerful tools to help you find the best deal, as they make it easier for you.

The websites of the actual airlines are one final place to check if you think you have not already found a good deal. If a flight is running with a low occupancy rate then the airline websites will surely lower the price and possibly notify you if you are on their list.

Non Arrival Sparks Malta Cheap Flight Worry

0

A no-frills flight from London’s Luton Airport to Malta that didn’t depart on has set alarm bells ringing on the holiday island.

The flight operator claims no flight was scheduled, while one newspaper said they had a photograph showing a departure board with ‘cancelled’ next to the flight number.

The Malta tourist industry pushed for low cost airlines to be allowed to operate to the island in the hope of arresting the recent decline in visitor numbers, and agreement was reached with Ryanair, with the inaugural flight from Luton in November.

With a projected 80,000 to 100,000 extra tourists a year, the arrival of new flights to Malta has been warmly welcomed and seen by many as the saviour of the holidays and hotel industry, with a knock on effect for the property for sale industry to overseas buyers.

The exisiting carriers, including the national airline Air Malta, have responded with offers of their own, and the price of flying to Malta has come down significantly in the last few months.

But what looks like a cancelled flight due to a lack of passengers has sounded alarm bells.

‘The Malta hotels and holiday industry was looking forward to the year ahead with a sense of optimism’, comment a local travel guide, ‘The extra tourists being brought in by Ryanair is a major boost for the island’s economy. But if a flight has been cancelled just weeks after their service started we just have to hope that it’s not a sign for the future, and projected arrival numbers haven’t been wildly over estimated. Hopefully there wasn’t a flight scheduled at all rather than being cancelled. ‘

Cheaper Malta Flights

‘There is a possibility’, continue the guide, ‘That the introduction of the low cost airlines flying to Malta will merely delay the long term decline of the island’s tourist industry. Unless money is spent on the infrastructure and improving the environment for the tourists generally there is a danger that a lot of visitors will be one-off. If there’s a lesson to be learned in Malta that the government and her agencies have failed to grasp it is that sustainable tourism is built on repeat visitors. At the moment a lot of visitors from the UK see Malta as a one-off trip’.

As well as Ryanair, it was hoped that easyJet would also start services to Malta, but the latest reports are that talks have failed to produce an agreement. But brighter news has come from the island’s flag carrier Air Malta.

As well as at one stage selling two tickets a minute in a recent promotion the airline is starting a new service from Liverpool in April.

The property market will also be keeping a close eye on tourist numbers now that the new flights have been given the green light. If visitor numbers do drop in the medium term it could be good news for locals looking to buy their first property.

There has been some discontent on the island about the rising prices of property in Malta, and with less overseas buyers the possibility of prices falling and more islanders being able to get on the property ladder could be welcome news, as today’s tourist is often tomorrow’s property buyer.

But now that low cost airlines are offering cheaper flights, this could help the Malta hotels and holiday market as more people consider three and four day breaks instead of the traditional week or fortnight, boosting the overall number of visitors, especially if Air Malta and the low cost airlines bring the cost of Malta flights to levels seen for the Spanish islands.

Malta has traditionally seen the majority of her visitors from the UK, but this could be changing to a more diverse mix in future years.

Last year saw a record number of visitors from Italy, and increased enquiries have been received at estate agents across the island from Scandanvia, Holland, France and Belgium, helping to increase the demand for Malta property.

Is Pope John Paul a Saint?

IS POPE JOHN PAUL TRULY A SAINT?

What do we know about Pope John Paul?  He was born on May 18, 1920 and passed into the Loving arms of Jesus April 2, 2005. He was the third child of  Emilia and Karol Wojtylas.   He was blessed to live in a loving family until his mom died less than one month before his sacrament of First Communion when he was 9 years old.   When he was 12 his beloved older brother dies of scarlet fever and his father passes away when he was 21 years old. He feels abandoned by the world but his faith gives him comfort.

Karol  loved the theater and performing until the university closed because of World War 11.   During the war he started an underground theater group, worked in a quarry and decided to follow his heart and become a priest in November of 1946.    He lead people in their faith and went through the ranks during world war 11 and the communismic take over.

On October 16, 1978, white smoke came from the Sistine Chapel and Karol became Pope John Paul 11.   His faith, charisma, prayer and God, lead him to become the most popular pope of our time.  One that united the masses, brought the youth to God and went to countries that no other pope had been to, Ghana, Asia, Gabon, Panama, the U. S. A. , Bangkok and India.   He did things that no other pope had done.

Children were his favorite people.   So when a 9 year old Polish boy who was unable to walk because of a kidney ailment and in a wheelchair, was brought to John Paul’s tomb in the grottoes of St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome. I personally believe a Miracle happened.  After praying at the tomb, he told his parents, “I want to walk. ”  He got up out of the wheelchair and started to walk and was healthy. Cardinal Stanislaw Dziwisz who was the personal secretary of John Paul and who now heads his old diocese of Krakow in Poland said he knew the family and attested to the boy’s illness.

Sister Marie Simon-Pierre, a French nun, had Parkinson’s the same ailment as Pope John Paul and she felt a great kinship to him. This horrible disease had robbed her of her spirit, made walking difficult, her body ached and her hands trembled so badly that she could not keep her job supervising a maternity ward in the town of Puyricard.   She was completely exhausted because of her disease.   When she went to her mother superior to give up her job, the mother suggested she write the late Pope’s name on a piece of paper and pray to him. When she tried to write it was nothing more than a scrawl.

What ever happened that night changed her life forever.   “It was as if I heard a voice say to me, Take your pen and write. ”  When she wrote it was very legible and the next morning she jumped out of bed and her disease had vanished.   This mystery has been confirmed by a local medical team. (People Magazine, April 16, 2007).

April 2, Sister Simon-Pierre recounted her story to the Vatican and they are investigating the stories to verify her recovery-miracle.

April 2, another story came to light about a 26 year old that was shot in the head execution-style during a mugging  five weeks prior.    The chaplain at the hospital is crediting Pope John Paul’s intercession in this story.   The doctors told the Aebly’s family that this was a non-survivable wound.    Father Art Snedeker gave the young man a rosary that had been blessed by Pope John Paul and he was released from the hospital 2 days before the 4th anniversary of John Paul’s death.   He can walk and talk as if he had never been shot.

Father Snedeker stated that the Pope promised him that he would always pray for patients at that hospital and the Pope blessed a dozen rosaries for special patients.   The first night that Jory the 26 year old arrived, Father Snedeker performed the sacrament of the sick.   He asked Pope John Paul to pray for Jory and protect him and gave Jory the blessed rosary.

“I stand before you today and can say, to my mind, Jory is a miracle” Snedeker said.   As Jory addressed the media before his release he thanked the police and hospital staff.   He attributed his recovery to the power of prayer.

Miracles?  I believe they are, I believe that Pope John Paul was so full of Faith that God gave him his own “phone line” to heaven.   Is he a saint, read about his live and he is already a saint with out these miracles.   He survived World War 11, Hitler, and communism.   He traveled, was shot, and lived with Parkinson for many years.   Yes, I believe he is already a Saint just from his life and when you add the miracles after his death, this makes him a Super Saint and in today’s world we need a Super Saint to pray for us and the world.

The Moral Argument For Marbella Millionaire Society As Presented by Piers Morgan

0

During interviews, he has the uncanny quality of piercing the veneer and testing the quality of the material underneath. “How much does it cost to hire you these days?” he brazenly asked Max Clifford (I paraphrase but the meaning was the same). And “Have you managed to put your days as the cad who dated Di behind you?” was the cheeky question posed of James Hewitt (twice!). Both Hewitt and Clifford are ensconced in Marbella millionaire society and visibly squirmed under the Piers torchlight.

Thanks to his days as a probing tabloid editor Piers has no fear of touching on territory others would balk at. He sets out to expose, not illuminate, the character of his interviewees. His starting point is the assumption of “guilty and not likely ever to be proven innocent. ” In the case of Marbella society, the cradle of crime, this is the perfect approach to take. “Don´t you think charging 16,000 euros for a bottle of champagne just to spray it all over the beach is a bit morally dubious considering the economic recession?” Piers asked a delighted party organiser on the infamous Nikki Beach. “Yes,” she replied with admirable honesty. But so what, was the implication throughout the show. If you´ve got it flaunt it, regardless of how you came to have it in the first place.

The Costa del Sol stretches for miles and not so far from the haven of Marbella, which incidentally these days is only a pale shadow of its former self having suffered grossly under the mismanagement of a string of corrupt mayors, you can have a very good night out for 20 euros. Even in Marbella itself there are pockets of value for money entertainment. But the glitterati Piers met do not flinch at a slap up evening costing in the region of 20,000 euros! Piers could afford it, I´m sure, but didn´t look too keen to indulge. He was more interested in putting the hedonists themselves on trial.
