Wow!!! Looks like you got a lot of answers. I agree with most of what the others are saying….go to the Carnival web site. Look up your cruise and print out the price…remember the list price does NOT include port charges and gratuities. Then contact a reliable travel agent…they can beat the cruise line price almost every time!!!

1st of all — if you book a cruise on a Cruise lines website you’ll overpay for your cruise. Find a good local travel agent that will keep checking the rates for you. If you book a cruise at Expedia, Travelocity, Orbitz you will over pay everytime!

You should first check out the cruise line’s website, to see what their asking price is. The price will change as the sail date becomes closer. The price could rise or fall.

Once you have seen the cruise line’s asking price, check sites such as Expedia and other online travel sites to compare prices.

When you have completed your online research, contact a local travel agent. Travel agents can sometimes secure the best deals.

Now, you can choose the best deal from the information you have gathered.

Keep in mind that prices will rise closer to the sailing date. However, it is likely they will dramatically drop about a week before the ship sets sail. This is due to last minute cancellations. The cruise line needs to fill up the ship, and will lower their prices.

I hope this info helps! Have a great time on your cruise!

Start deciding where you want to go now. The earlier you book the better deal you can get.

I have booked 2 cruises with Carnival and they are wonderful to deal with. We booked both cruises about 8-9 months before we left. Then as they ran specials on the cruises, we could call and our price would be adjusted based on the special. Our first cruise was 7 days to the Eastern Carribbean on the Carnival Glory and it was like 550 per person and that included tax.
Currently I am booked on a cruise to the Western Caribbean for Christmas and it is 7 days on Carnival Glory it was only 535 per person.

I also know that Carnival has a personal vacation planner for you that you can book through and ask any questions of and it is all free. YOu pay them no charges such as you would with travelocity or another similar program.

When we booked we looked at all cruise lines and Carnival was the cheapest. However, the boat was beautiful and had any amenity that you could ever want. I would check out their website- http://www.carnival.com and look over the cruises for the date you would like to go, and have a vacation planner contact you. There is no obligation if you talk with them and they can really help you out.

Good Luck- I’m sure you will have a wonderful time.
