Where is a good place for aquariums and ornamental fish in Abu Dhabi or Dubai?
Hello everyone, I recently moved to Abu Dhabi and I try to run a (simple) planted Aquarium.Ich found no particular problems, equipment (even seems Eheim / Haagen / Fluval / AquaClear be totally absent from market) I am particularly concerned about the stock more and more good news – Rams, Angels, Discus, gouramis, etc.Jede advice is much appreciated ~!
In Dubai you can get those either from Garden supply warehouses or from Satwa small shops on Al Hudaiba Road ; the lane in front of Al Maya supermarket linking Satwa Road 90 to the Al Wasl Road 92 intersection in front of Iranian Hospital. They would be on the same side as the flower/garden shops , and opposite to Satwa Ceramics. You can try Ace Hardware as well, the biggest Ace in Dubai is next to festival city mall.
On Sheikh Zayed Road there is a small hardware store called Speedex located in the road behind the Pan Emirates Furniture showroom (another building behind it). They too sell some hardware pieces such as pumps/filters and such , but nothing directly fish/ aquarium related.
