Where can I find the best Las Vegas deals online?

There are no “Best Deals”. If there were it wouldn’t be a secret and everyone would just know about them.

You can check Expedia, Travelocity, Hotels.com or wherever. And what you will find is they are all nearly the same price. Why? Because in the travel industry everything “Funnels Down” to a handful of booking engines (Databases) that make the actual reservations.

And the Hotels Determine the prices for each of these databases through contractual agreements.

Companies like Expedia are consolidators they make legal agreements with Hotels to buy blocks of rooms. This is a hedge for the Hotels against vacancy. Otherwise there would be more risk. So on occasion the Expedia “Deal” may be better or it may not. But the consolidators present their own risk. You often have to deal with their customer service people because you booked through them.

Then there are the bundles where they can hide the true cost of one part of the bundle by discounting or raising another. Convenient for sure, savings? Maybe.

Vegas.com, LasVegas.com – same people… they just have their own backend deals with the big Travel Players. Same for airlines.

So all you can really do is pick a few and compare prices. Call your Travel Agent and see what they can do. Then contact the Hotels Directly.

A lot of the Hotels are running promos right now. But what is in is NOT to discount the rooms but to throw in a bunch of “Perks” like Food Credits, Spa Credits, etc. Because these have fixed costs and are actually ways for them to make more money from you. The Casinos want to keep you on their porperty spending once you arrive so it’s a very profitable strategy.

In any case you can shop till you drop or you can do the above.

There was a post on here the other day where a person wanted to know which was the “Best Deal” out of about a half dozen options and all of them were within $30 of each other.
