In North Carolina, you are actually on the beach, walk really well. However, there are many places in the United States, where on the beach driving banned, but it does not seem to stop people. For example, on Long Island, New York, you should not drive on the beach, but I certainly saw people on the beach with their cars after hours when they should not be.

People must realize that there are rules in place for on the beach for a reason. For starters, many places like Ocracoke in the Outer Banks of North Carolina does not allow more people to ride on the nesting beach to beach erosion and damage to protected species like sea turtles. On the flip side, in places where driving is allowed on the beach, it is certainly looking for the perfect beach much easier. However, there are ups and downs to both take your vehicle on the beach.

A few summers ago, I was researching the Outer Banks of North Carolina for my master’s thesis, when some friends and I decided to go to the beach for the day. It was a beach that you could take your car, and I had my Jeep and was dying to use the four wheel drive. So we went to the beach, and took some air on my tires (which is recommended if you’re on the beach road) and we went to a nice place where we have the car and down to the sea a few meters. However wanted our little trip to the beach was almost by others who have also decided to spend the day at the beach in ruins. But because there are no speed limits or road mode ‘names were posted, people go where they wanted whenever they wanted and the beach. It does not sound like much, that there are people out there with children or thing that there are people there at all. These drivers have been other speeding on the beach and could have caused an accident.

It’s a real shame that people often ruin things for themselves. I could not help thinking that day, as I tried in vain on the beach that now a highway for those who have a pick-up and had to relax all the four wheel drive that it is only a matter of time before the authorities track the wind people break the general safety rules, they wanted to, but quickly up and down to go to the beach. I did not go back on the beach in a few years, but I would not be surprised when there are new laws will be posted when you’re able to drive on the beach. Finally, it is extremely difficult to relax when you have dozens of people take to the beach in their cars, as it is a free for all.
