Question: What places/cities do you recommend for a nice, relaxing 3-day family weekend in Florida?
I’m 6.5 months pregnant and have a 19-month old. My husband and I desperately need a getaway within the state of Florida. Other than South Beach, Key West and Ft. Lauderdale, any recommendations of cities and hotels we can visit, enjoy and relax in?

Destin/San Destin area (panhandle) is gorgeous and not typically flush with the touristy trash. Crystal River is VERY nice. Try Sanibel and Captiva Islands (gulf coast) for sugar sand beaches and the best shell finding in the US.
