From the supplier: The National Association of Professional Insurance Agents (PIA) taught 21 visiting insurance executives from seven countries in the Commonwealth of Independent States about the US insurance system. The visitors toured many insurance companies and brokerages in the Northeast and several government agencies. The PIA told the visitors about regulatory, legal and other issues. The US Commerce Department sponsored the visit. The insurance industry in Russia also is discussed.
