Is it worth to take the Yangtze River cruise from Chongqing to Yichang?

I just came back from there three weeks ago. Chongqing by a tourist cruise to Yichang. Yichang by coach to Wuhan. Wuhan by the newest bullet train to Guangzhou. By air to Singapore. I should say there are not many places of interests. Nothing likes the good old days before the big river project. You will be bored to death by the second day. During stopovers, all the tourist managers or leaders would conspire with the people in charged of the places of interest such as the Chang Fei temple, white castle etc. to fleece the tourists both Chinese and foreigners alike. Not just one or two Renminbi but more than 400 Renminbi. These people are big well bodied men who will block your exits. There are many such encounters along the cruise stopovers. Everything spells money. If you do not want to be disappointed, take my advice give the Yangtze River cruise a miss.
