Does working illegally usually affect travel insurance?
Question: Does working illegally usually affect travel insurance?
If i were to be working on an industrial site in a foreign country, which requires a special work visa, under a visitor visa ie working illegally, would this normally have any effect on my insurance coverage should I have an accident? My insurance coverage is provided by my employee, but I don’t have a copy of the policy at hand.
(foreign travel insurance)

if a claim arises with in the scope of the policy risks covered it will not affect. But if it arises from the work site or due to the nature of work it will not help you. How ever as you said it is taken by your employer it must be a legal one and may not connect with your visa. any way do not stay in a foreign country with out proper visa. try to get your visa regularised through your employer.
Check the exclusions found in the policy. If it’s a valid claim that isn’t otherwise excluded than it would be covered.
