what sites can I look for, honeymoon vacations?

I would definitely say to go to the Outer Banks, Ocracoke Island, North Carolina. I just got married October 7th, and we went there for a week after. Gorgeous!!!

That will give you a little more info on it, if you’re willing to drive that far. It’s not built up or commercialized, so you can relax and get away from everything. We just enjoyed each other. There are a bunch of cute Inns, Lodges, and Hotels. We stayed at Blackbeard’s Lodge. (They are kind of big on pirates, Blackbeard in particular, because he frequented that Island. Fun times!)

You can get there by car for sure, but it might take you a while. (It is an island, but a free ferry from Hatteras Island runs every half hour at least. It’s a 40 minute ride in itself, but it’s beautiful!) I live in Pennsylvania, and it took me 11 hrs. I’m not sure how much of a difference in travel distance is from Indiana, but I’m assuming it’s significant enough to be probably about a 14 hour or so trip.

We rented a car, and everything went smoothly on the trip, so it might be feasible, like I said, if you want to drive that long. It’s a true test of marriage if you can survive a long trip without getting mad at your new spouse! :)

Even if you don’t go to the outer banks, good luck and have fun! Remember not to stress out over small details… everything will fall into place!
