Trip for 4 in 70′s 2010 season. Want somewhat smaller boat. Hundreds of passangers rather than thousands. 7 day cruise preferred. Depart from U.S. or Canada. Air fare not needed.
(alaska cruise ship)

Ships that small are going to be found in the “luxury” lines and will be very expensive, if any of them do go to Alaska.
Celebrity is a very nice cruise line, as is Holland America, and some of their ships are on the smaller side for mainstream/premium lines.
You could try VacationsToGo.com. Search their Alaska section.
This might not be at all what you’re looking for but, the Alaska Marine Highway System is the best way to see the southern coast of Alaska on a budget. Since the ferry system is transportation oriented, you may not get the pampering or luxury amenities that the cruise lines offer. If you’re willing to rough it a little, then the AMHS can save you a lot of money and offer a wonderful, and custom tailored experience of Southern Alaska. This is the way many Alaskans choose to see their state.
