Question: Best time of the year to visit the Galapagos Islands?
I was wondering when it would be the best time/season to visit the Galapagos Islands because im planning to go there myself.

January-June
The water temp is warmer, it rains less, and there is little fog during these months.
Because the Galapagos are located right near the equator, the weather is not a big factor in the time of year that is best to visit. I went last January and although the plants were a bit brown instead of green, there were other perks of being there at that time. It was nesting season for Boobies and Frigates on many of the islands, and the sealions were having pups on many of the islands about 2 weeks before we were there. The weather was hot, the sun was out every day, and the water was warm enough to enjoy snorkeling without a wetsuit.
The sea can be a bit rough in August and September, so if you get seasick and plan on going on a cruise don’t go then. Other than that, any time is great to visit the Galapagos!
