Question: Can I buy travel insurance covering flights but not medical?
We are planning an international trip and already have medical coverage through our HMO. We are most concerned about flights being cancelled due to strikes or the Icelandic volcano. Are there any travel insurance policies that cover flights but not medical? (translating into a $ saving).

The Icelandic volcano is no longer covered by travel insurance, you should check the small print of any policy with regards to strikes by airlines. Also you can not hold two travel insurances at one time because you are only allowed to claim on one policy, you enter the realms of fraud if you claim twice for the same problem.
