Question: any hotels to be recommended while visiting venice italy ?
i am going to venice for several days and trying to find a reasonable but ok hotel to stay in. There are so many hotels to choose from its a jungle. Please help

Check out camping fusina, you can rent a caravan and the prices are great..

What is your budget range and exactly when do you plan to visit? Prices in Venice vary a lot depending on what’s going on. I use this site for hotels here in Italy: http://www.venere.com/italy/venice/ . I don’t live all that far from Venice, so I usually only stay overnight for special events like Carnevale or Il Redentore (next weekend) or the Historical Regatta. I prefer to stay close to Piazza San Marco and usually use the Selvadego http://www.venere.com/italy/venice/ , All’Angelo http://www.venere.com/hotels/venice/hotel-all-angelo/ or Hotel San Moisè http://www.venere.com/hotels/venice/hotel-san-moise/

Venice is compact and very walkable, so just about anywhere is okay. Places on the outer islands like the Lido tend to be cheaper, but require taking the boat to get to the main tourist areas.
