Question: Anyone know of travel abroad insurance sponsored by the US government?
I’m 23 and going to be traveling internationally for 6+ months shortly but I need health insurance. I’ve heard that the US government funds a program for health insurance to cover young adults who are traveling abroad…can anyone confirm this and perhaps link me to a website with details or more info?

The government has no such program. I have links to three different companies (one of which covers the Peace Corps) on my web site. You are looking at ‘travel medical insurance’ and it’s very inexpensive coverage.
