Can anyone suggest an Italy vacation tour for me and husband.?

Well, then you’re probably looking at some Tuscany-Florence combo.

Trust me……endless vineyards really aren’t all that fascinating.

Yup….there it is…….endless rows of grapes……..uh huh………..wow. Exciting.

it’s really kind of a waste of a trip to Italy, if ya ask me. Ya can see that in any movie about Italy.

and if he’s hoping to dance in a vat of grapes with some busty half naked babe, tell him to wake up, and that doesn’t actually happen. That’s Hollywood. We have wine presses and vats, ya know.

the whole foot stomping thing, kinda went out with the Dark Ages…..if they even did it like that back then. (probably not)

Florence has all the art…….and no shortage of it, but then, so does Rome. Other cities have their share as well….Milan, Turin, Venice, Verona, but hey……ya said ya only have 10-14 days.

Take a bus ride thru the grape valleys if ya MUST, (bring a magazine to read)…….but try to see some of Italy while you’re here. Pisa is a short train hop from Florence…..Rome, just a little further south……and they have a WHOLE lot more fascinating things to see, then vats full of grape juice.

Trust me on that……….I don’t steer people wrong. Venice is a long way way, often overcrowded and over rated quite frankly……..and sometimes, ankle deep, or deeper, in water, in the piazza.

Bahhhhhhh……..Go to Rome…….you won’t regret that………ever.
