Can anyone tell me which cruise line has the best Alaska cruise?

Question: Can anyone tell me which cruise line has the best Alaska cruise?
Looking for a cruise that has the best excursions and activities. Going for a 20th anniversary trip and want the best. Offers and suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks for the info…wow, so much to consider. Can’t wait to go. Second marriage for each of us and 20 years of the best!

Best in Alaska would be either Holland America or Princess. They’re both considered premium cruise lines and they both offer you the option to extend your cruise to a “cruise tour” which would include a post or pre cruise tour in Alaska. Norwegian would be the best option if you’re looking for the least expensive. If not, stick to Princess or Holland. Good Luck

Obviously you will get many different answers because everyone has their favorites.

We like NCL (Norwegian Cruise Lines) because of the Freestyle atmosphere where you can do whatever, whenever you choose. No set dining times or dining partners.

We loved our trip to Alaska this past May on the Pearl so much we are already booked for next May, same ship, same stateroom.

It really is a personal choice. But the best way to discover what “your best” could be is to check out http://www.cruisecritic.com and check out the reviews and photos of others who have gone.

For a 7 day cruise – all lines offer pretty much the same excursions. Activities will vary but, are offered for all.
I have sailed with 3 different lines to Alaska Holland, Norwegian & Princess. & will sail with each again. Holland is first class.
If you choose a cruise tour(the best way to see Alaska) then you have to decide afew things.
Princess is ranked # 1 by the travel channel as well as others. They are the only line to put you up in 5 star lodges. However;
Holland is the only line that offers a cruise tour with a choice of 3, 4 or 7 day cruise.
Also a cruise tour will either start or end in Vancouver so a passport is required.
May & Sept. offer the best rates. Sept. all shops have their 50% off sales. Best to buy souvenirs in Port.
You may check weather patterns, points of interests by typing in each port of call.
Alaska is an AMAZING place to visit.
Enjoy. Which ever line you choose the scenery, wildlife & people you will meet from all around the world will make it an anniversary you will not forget.

Since it is your 20th anniversary, I would cruise with Regent Seven Seas. It is a premier cruise line that exceeds the quality of food and service you receive on Holland America and Princess. Their ships are smaller (about 640 people) and the staff is very professional. Unlike the other cruise lines, there is no charge for soft drinks or the selected wines at lunch and dinner. Go to rssc.com for more details. My husband and I sailed with this line for our 20th anniversary (9 years ago) and we have never gone back to Princess, Norwegian,etc. Pamper yourself. You deserve it!

Princess is generally considered the “gold standard” for Alaska, with Holland America as a very close second. Both are great!

Deffinetly Princess Cruise Lines. Princess cruise are full of luxary and treat you amazing. Go durring the summer it’s not hot there but its not cold (to me). The best one specifically to me is the Princess cruise that leaves from San Francisco, the ship is called Sea Princess. It is an 10 day cruise, by the end you’ll want to stay on the ship forever. Also Sea Princess is known as one of the loves boats. It’s a great place to celebrate anniversaries.
