Question: Best place to snowboard near Salt Lake / Park City Utah?
My girlfriend and I will be staying in Salt Lake over New Years and will want to snowboard for 2 days. Tried to book a hotel near park city but it’s too expensive.

We will have a 4×4 SUV and would like to know the best place to drive for snowboarding. Should we consider driving out to Park City Resort, or consider other resorts such as Snowbird?

No doubt the easiest way to get insurance quotes is on the web.
Why would you waste your time on the phone calling around?
the last time i needed quotes on insurance i used one of these comparison sites and it was great.
this is the site i used and it was quick like less than 5 mins.
The last thing I want to do is listen to elevator music while waiting for a salesman.
Anyway I got good quotes and ended up saving money so I was happy.
So shop around and compare quotes which is easy on the net.

Where can I get health insurance for a parent who is undergoing dialysis in India and wants to Visit the USA for a short term. Of course they will need to continue there treatments here while visiting. But we need some kind of assistance while they are here.

It’s unlikely that you will get affordable insurance for a short term situation. I would call a local dialysis unit, and ask to talk to their social worker. Every unit has one. He/she will have much more information than you’ll find on here. You will also be able to find out how much it would cost to pay for it without insurance (probably a lot!).

Question: Private health insurance that works worldwide.?
I am searching for a private full cover health insurance that works worldwide. I am living in Japan right now, but I would like to also be covered and eligible for medical treatment in Europe, especially in my homecountry Germany. All German health insurance companies that I know don’t accept people that are not working and living in Germany.

I have heard, that there is one insurance company in Germany, that accepts people wo reside and work in another country than Germany, even outside of Europe.

Also somebody once told me about an insurance company in Great Britain. Does anybody know the names of such health insurance companies?

Even though I am living and working in Japan, I would like to be covered in Germany, which seens to be difficult as I am not employed there.

I was having the same dilemma as I looked for insurance to cover me internationally on my honeymoon. Blue cross blue Shield covers internationally, but you can also google travel health insurance, while these plans will probably be short-term, you can go to the companies main website and they may cover long-term as well.

I did an online quote with Progressive. Will they accept Accidental Medical Insurance? Because I heard that if you have your own health insurance, your insurance policy will be cheaper. In order to get car insurance that is under $ 200 a month living in a city , it is required that I do show proof of a health insurance policy. Will this do?

You should also check: http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en for train connections. You can book tickets for German routes, but it’s an excellent resource for at least identifying schedules throughout Europe.
