Question: What is the best area or hotels to stay at in Maui, Hawaii-beachfront?
We are planning a honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii in October of this year but have no idea where to stay or what part of the island is better than the other! We would like an oceanfront hotel/condo/resort with atleast 3 1/2 stars. Please help if you have any suggestions!! Thanks :)

We have been to Maui twice now and we have always stayed @ the Westin Maui Resort & Spa. Definately a 5 star high class resort. One of the best that we recommend to everyone! It is right on the beautiful Kaanapali Beach and is next to Whalers Village for shopping and many other fun things very close near by.

We have stayed at the Grand Sierra, their outdoor pool will be closed, as will Silver Legacy and Harrah’s…. (seasonal) Peppermill is closed for remodel until late May. Where is left?

I think most hotel’s pools might still be closed ….unless it is heated.

Question: What clothing should I bring for a 10 day trip to Italy in May 2009?
I am going on a tour for 10 days to the Amalfi coast, Pompei, Isle of Capri, Positano, Rome, FLorence, Tuscany, Venice. Then I’m taking a 7 day cruise of Italy, Greece & Crotia with stops in Bari, Olympia, Santori, Mykonai, Rhodes & Dubrovnik. I will be doing a lot of walking.
What is the temperature this time of year?

It will be spring in Italy and temperatures should be mild. (70′s) Take along a sweater, just in case.
