If your medical insurance carrier calls you and is recording you without notification, is it a federal crime?
5Question: If your medical insurance carrier calls you and is recording you without notification, is it a federal crime?
The agency, Worldwide, called a friend of mine and was using less than professional tactics to gain information. Worldwide is a company who administers benefits for Blue Cross Blue Shield. My friend has caught the Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance Company in fraud concerning not providing coverage for premium money paid. Also, a member of the US Congress is connected to this mess. The congressman knows about the company recording my friend.

It just depends in certain states it is LEGAL to record, as long as 1 party is aware that the conversation is being recorded. So therefore your friend would not have to be notified, however, most national companies to be above board and to ensure they are not calling in a state where this is illegal, they should “announce” that they “could” record the information.
Might want to review the legal information for your state and get the law enforcement involved or legal counsel.
Good luck

You need to provide more detail about your country of residence, citizenship, and any strong financial ties to other countries like a business or significant investments.
Also, are you unemployed? That makes financial underwriting of life insurance a bit sticky.

June and July. If you port in Ketchikhan during Independence Day, they give quite a show. August, the wet weather starts and May there’s still some snow.
I hear the Holland cruises are really good. The cheapest way to go is via the Ferry though.
Transatlantic business class on Turkish Airlines?
0Question: Transatlantic business class on Turkish Airlines?
How is business class on Turkish airlines? I am planning on traveling business class from Delhi to Chicago connecting in Istanbul. Is it comfortable? I would hate to spend all that money and not have the comfort that should come with first class travel. Any good or bad experiences?

Actually Turkish is known for really good service on most of their flights. They’ve become somewhat prestigious and their business class seats on their Airbus A330s and Airbus A340s (the aircraft they use for overseas flights) are really nice, and oddly similar-looking to Air France’s business class.
Some very good friends of mine flew Turkish Airlines on a regional flight from Istanbul to Belgrade last summer. They said it was fantastic, and they flew only in Economy. I’ll guess and say your flight will be an enjoyable one.
Note that the airline just joined Star Alliance in April, so if you have a Star Alliance account that will be a good flight for getting some miles for possible future discounts with Star Alliance partners.
How many years does it take to complete aviation school to become a pilot?
3Question: How many years does it take to complete aviation school to become a pilot?
I want to know the years of training at the flight school, i know that the aviation perfers a university or college degree and that takes 4 years and into flight school, how many years does it take to graduate from aviation school. Is it 5-10 years?
(aviation school)
Best answer:
Answer by T.J.
You really don’t “graduate” from a flight school, it all depends on what ratings you want to go for. It depends on a lot of factors as with anything in aviation, but it is more like 3-5 years if you go to a “typical” school. If you go to an accelerated school and devote all your time to flying, you could get all your ratings in a much shorter time.
How would you do your flight training?
5Question: How would you do your flight training?
would you do a flight program at a community college that cost around $ 50,000 all the way to CFII in two years and gives you an associates degree in some applied science . or would you go to college and do flight training on the side? the reason i ask is because i want to be a commercial pilot but i would like to have a degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronics in case i ever have to stop being a commercial pilot.

Get yourself an education first, the best you can afford.
Then get aviation training and, if you can, get someone else to pay for it. ie, explore military flying. Good pay, good benefits, good cause. And at the end of the enlistment you can go about an aviation career, or any other with a very good start.
Or,
you can fork over the 50 grand get a near worthless associates degree and go beg for an entry copilot job that pays next to nothing and is completely at the whim of the economy.

4Question: How do you calculate the 13% sales charge added to New Orleans Hotels?
I’m going to New Orleans in a couple weeks for Mardi Gras! I have already paid for my hotel in full but the confirmation says I have to pay 13% sales tax and an occupancy tax. I’m not from America, I live in the UK and don’t know US taxes. Is that 13% of the total room rate or something else? How is it calculated?
The occupancy tax is $ 1 per night. The room rate was $ 279 per night.

I tend to be partial to smaller boutique hotels in general and for a romantic occasion like a honeymoon they are the perfect solution.
Joie de Vivre is a California boutique hotel company that has several hotels in SF that would be a good choice. Depending on your budget and what features you want check out the following hotels on their web site
Hotel Vitale [especially the corner rooms with stunning views of the Bay Bridge and large soaking tubs in the room]
The White Swan Inn
Petite Auberge
Galleria Park
Hotel Kabuki
