Craving for Travel: Luxury Experiences for the Sophisticated Traveler
2“Craving for Travel” isn’t simply a travel book or brochure; it’s also a peek into some of the places that most people don’t even know exist. Jim Strong, president of Strong Travel, has been traveling extensively for the last few years looking for new and exciting destinations, with one common theme in mind — luxury!
Strong Travel specializes in luxury travel experiences for exclusive, high-end clients, from a suite with the Eiffel Tower as backdrop and a 360-degree Paris view, to a beachfront mansion that easily entertains 20 friends, to an adventurous safari where travelers in an open-air Land Rover idle a scant 15 feet from a pride of lions.
When travelers request a trip planned by Strong Travel, they get more than just special handling. Jim and his team take travel arrangement to a new level because of their vast, hands-on experience and personal network of contacts in all corners of the world.
“Craving for Travel” is an introduction to the places Jim Strong’s clients call Nirvana—some of the most distinctive and resplendent locales in the world; hallmarks of discovery, enlightenment, leisure or luxury, each in their own right.
“Extraordinary experiences last a lifetime,” Jim says, “so they deserve the same planning as any other significant life event. Travel is a very important part of the luxury lifestyle, and Strong Travel clients know we are experts at tailoring global adventures to suit their individually refined tastes and preferences.”

What are the best websites to find Maui vacation rentals (Condo, Timeshares, etc)?
2Question: What are the best websites to find Maui vacation rentals (Condo, Timeshares, etc)?
I’ve tried craigslist, and a few random pages that I have found here and there but I was wondering if anyone could suggest something. I’m obviously hoping to find a good deal, especially since it’s only my fiance and I going so we don’t need much space. Only looking for something with a view and A/C!

The Knickerbocker Volume 23, Number 3
0This question has often been asked but seldom answered satisfactorily.
Newspaper editors and correspondents have frequently attempted a practical
elucidation of the mystery, by quoting from their own brains the rarest
piece of absurdity which they could imagine, and entitling it
‘Transcendentalism.’ One good hit of this kind may be well enough, by way
of satire upon the fogginess of certain writers who deem themselves, and
are deemed by the multitude, transcendental _par excellence_. COLERIDGE
however thought that to parody stupidity by way of ridiculing it, only
proves the parodist more stupid than the original blockhead. Still, one
such attempt may be tolerated; but when imitators of the parodist arise
and fill almost every newspaper in the country with similar witticisms,
such efforts become ‘flat and unprofitable;’ for nothing is easier than to
put words together in a form which conveys no meaning to the reader. It is
a cheap kind of wit, asinine rather than attic, and can be exercised as
well by those who know nothing of the subject as by those best acquainted
with it. Indeed, it is greatly to be doubted whether one in a hundred of
these witty persons know any thing of the matter; for if they possess
sense enough to make them worthy of being ranked among reasonable men, it
could be proved to them in five minutes that they are themselves
transcendentalists, as all thinking men find themselves compelled to be,
whether they know themselves by that name or not.

What kind of converter do I need to charge my laptop for my upcoming trip to China (Beijing)?

The last time I was in China was in the mid 80′s and the electric currency is 220. You will need a power converter and an plug adapter to use a USA laptop. You can get it from Franzus or any electronic store. Take extra ones with you in case it burns out, just a suggestion.
