Edwardian and Victorian Hats designed by Darna’s East Angel Harbor Hat Shoppe are influenced by the Victorian and Edwardian Eras and I embrace the finery of these eras to design my re-creations. My hats are designed for Victorian, Civil War and Edwardian re-enactment, tea hats for parties as well as church. I’m dedicated to designing Victorian and Edwardian hats and accessories that have both an element of realism combined with imagination; my hat designs transcends time and I truly want to enchant you and assist you on your journey to somewhere in time!
Miss Blue Danube is designed over a black faux horsehair and the brim measures a full 18 inches in diameter. It would look beautiful for that special tea party, church, wedding or Easter! It’s adorned with a gorgeous soft velvet blue rose and delicate embroidered organza around the crown as well as the rosette behind the rose; the embroidered organza is accented with pearls and sequins. There’s gorgeous natural ostrich feathers from Spain sweeping across the front and side of the hat and an white sparkling tulle bow cascades down the back and his hat looks lovely with any hair style including the Gibson Girl Hairdo. VERY ELEGANT

There will be about 7 people going. I know there are a lot of options out there. I am interested in a sea/land tour too. I want opinions on what is the best Alaska cruise to go on and when. Thanks!

I plan on going next year too. I got a great book from the Alaskan Tourist board. It is so informative! It points out the best places to go, what weather to expect during the months, etc. Go to the state’s website and request the booklet. You will be so happy you have it when planning your vacation.

Question: How do I get liability insurance for a rental car in a foreign country?
We are traveling to Spain this summer and neither the rental car agencies (Avis or Hertz), our stateside insurance provider (State Farm), or our credit card company (American Express) offer liability coverage in a foreign country. I would much appreciate any advice or experience anyone may have with this.

You will need to get insurance from a provider in Spain. Maybe your agent writes some coverages with Lloyd’s of London; sometimes they can help.
