Question: destination wedding?
ok so i plan on getting married at cinderellas castle in cali. but i live in south carolina so my question is does my photographer,flourist,and everything have to be in cali. and do i have to get a cali. marriage licience??

Yeah, you need a cali marriage lincence. But it would be cheaper to not have to fly in photography and florist.
Also, are you getting married in Disneyland, because I think they have all that taken care of in your package.

Hi. Yes, you would get your marriage license in California, so look into that.

When you say “cinderella’s castle,” are you meaning at Disneyland? If so, I believe all the packages that you get from Disneyland have a photographer and florist included. Make sure you look into that. Here is the link:

Yes you have to have a California marriage license. You can fly in the photographer if you want but there are a ton of excellent photographers in the Los Angeles area. Your florist should be in the L.A. area since you won’t be able to take flowers on the plane. I could be wrong but I think DIsney has their own florist that you may be required to use.

Yes-it all needs to be local to your venue, unless you plan to pay for travel and accomodations (including meals) for your photographers, etc.

Destination weddings are not a good idea for those who need alot of control over the details. In the end, you need to trust that Disney will do a wonderful job, and just let them do their thing. They have wedding planners for all the details.

You are going to have an amazing wedding disneyland will set lots of this up for you when you talk to them over the phone and prior the the event. Its actually sleeping beauty’s castel in So cal but its just as pretty and has snow if you get it during the winter. I am getting married[maybe] at one of their outdoor spots or hotel. They talk you through everything put you in touch with flourist and photographers, maybe go on theknot.com and search orange county for some of those so you can get in contact with them now.
Good luck you are going to have an amazing looking wedding, and disneyland actually does the flowers for you, but the wedding in front of the castle is only at night you might want to look into the day weddings, if you want to see them.

Yes, you need a CA marriage license. All the vendors should be in CA also (shipping flowers from Carolina to CA will be a big expense)

You are getting married in Disney? The wedding planner provided by Disney should take care of all of that for you, I believe it’s party of the package deal (I looked into that for my wedding a few years ago).

Yes you get the licence where the marriage will be performed. Unless you want to foot the shipping bill for flowers and pay the way for your photographer you should arrange for those things in Cali. Why don’t you talk to the Disney Wedding planner for help.

the marriage licese HAS to be in Cali.
And, unless you are planning to pay for all your vendor’s trips to and from Cali, I would suggest getting them there too.
