Question: where can you purchase short term insurance in the US?
Is it possible to buy temporary car insurance on a daily or weekly basis? I know this is offered in the UK and you can purchase this type of insurance for driving into Mexico, but can you buy daily policies in the US? I have a car that I want to keep parked on my ranch and only drive a few days or weeks during the year and I don’t want to pay for a whole year policy.

yes, you can do that here too. call any local company near where you live, or go online and do a search. hundreds of results will pop up!
The shortest term you can buy in the US is a one month policy, through Leader Insurance. It’s just not worth the insurance company’s time and effort to issue a “daily” policy.
Keep in mind, though, if you ONLY drive the vehicle on your ranch, you don’t NEED to have it insured – only if you drive it on public roads.
