Getting life insurance without no medical exam?

Question: Getting life insurance without no medical exam?
I am over 60 and I need life insurance but I don’t want a medical exam. I just want something to pay my funeral so my kids will not have to suffer from the cost. Is global life insurance good or is there aything else out there that I can get?

American Life Insurance does not require a medical exam. they only sell whole term though.

The type of exam required by insurance companies is usually a height, weight check, some medical questions and blood and urine samples. It is paid for by the insurance company and they will come to your home or office…takes about 20 minutes to complete.

The benefit is that underwritten products are less expensive than no-med products.

I have links on my site to companies that don’t require medical exams, but you’re better off getting a medical exam because you otherwise pay dearly.

Globe Life is a solid A rated company – but look at what you’re buying. With no medical exam, for a funeral cost policy, it won’t pay out unless you live at LEAST two full years after buying the policy. If you live more than 6 years, you’re paying in more than they’re paying out.

You should seriously consider just buying a prepaid funeral from your local undertaker. It will probably end up costing you less in the long run.

Yes, there are lots of insurance companies that will write your life insurance with no medical exam. Here’s the catch: If you die within the first few years (usually two) of the time the policy is in force, your beneficiary will receive ONLY the premiums you have paid.

In order for a life insurance company to take on this type of risk, they have to do something to cut their losses.

I don’t know about Global Insurance Company but the AARP advertises policies that require no exam and that you can not be turned down. Go online to AARP and get more info.

You can also make arrangements with a funeral home and cemetery ahead of time and pay monthly payments. This way not only is everything paid for but your family will not have the extra burden to make those arrangements at such a stressful time. AND you will get done just what you want.

None of your family will be able to argue about what to do.

If you can afford a bit extra for the insurance – that will help pay some living expenses for the survivors you leave behind.
