Question: Is there a cheap way to travel from southern South America to Antarctica?
I am traveling to Chile in about a month, and if possible I would really like to go to Antarctica. I have been looking into transportation there and the only thing that I can see are expensive cruises. Are there any sort of ferries, military or research vessels that I could use to get there?

no really antartica is way down after argentina , due the coldenes only around is pinguins, is a few post for research but you need be part of them to get the transportation with them, Im sure is a turism from la patagonia in argentina but dont belive is go actually to the south pole.
