Question: Does anyone know any good hotels in the Seattle area?
I was wondering about hotels in Seattle or near it and hopefully under 110 a night. And while I’m asking the question, what are some fun things to do besides the space needle and shopping? I haven’t been there before, and I am trying to plan an itinerary. Thanks alot!

Good hotels – there are a few but under 110 is not going to be enough. You may find some through a travel discount website but the going rate is around 200 per night.

You can check out:
Hilton Seattle
Fairmont (really expensive)
Sheraton (newly rebuilt)
Edgewater (right onthe waterfront and walking distance to the waterfront area and sculpture park. You could even take a ferry across to Bainbridge and spend the afternoon)
W (pishy posh but great hotel downtown)

EMP and Olympic Sculpture Park are popular and interesting.

I would suggest renting a car and driving to some areas outside of the dowtown area. You could drive up to Snoqualmie Falls and go for a short hike (if it is in the summer or even late spring or early fall). Rent a canoe and paddle around the arboretum. Paddle around near the floating bridges. Ideally I would visit Seattle in the summer and early fall for the best weather and to hit up all the local festivals.
