Hotel Room
A dead bride goes unnoticed on a sweltering Fourth of July, in the seedy New York hotel room #426. Her body sits undisturbed in the closet while a magician awaits a prostitute he may know, a photographer’s voyeurism goes too far, and a cross dressing weather man receives a strange visit in his final hours. Fate charms these characters to room #426, each awaiting the tragic comedy of their life to unravel and all connected by the cleaning of a brazen maid and the dead bride in the closet. Independent filmmakers Cesc Gay (director of “Nico and Dani”) and Daniel Gimelberg, artistically craft the visually stunning images of “Hotel Room”, which won the Grand Jury Prize at both the Atlantic Film Festival and the Wine Country Film Festival of Napa and Sonoma. Review by The DVD Collector for Hotel Room
Rating:
Rented this on a Tuesday night and really enjoyed it. Could it have been better? Yeah. But then, couldn’t a LOT of movies have been better too? I still found it very enjoyable to watch!
By the way, I don’t know what the reviewer “Gordon Larko” is smoking. For some reason, he feels compelled to leave the EXACT SAME horrible review and 1 STAR rating for all GAY-THEMED movies. Probably a “personal problem” of his. Hopefully this review will help correct this imbalance. I can’t believe AMAZON is allowing this GAY BASHER to use their website as a venue to spread his hate.
