Not sure if you are looking for hotels downtown – I spent a bunch of time in Overland Park KS – which is sort of suburban KC – I really liked the Hilton Garden Inn there. The Doubletree was OK too – the staff were really nice – the hotel was OK.

It wasn’t too much of a trek to downtown either
