Hard to say.
If you are young, headstrong and like to party, a river cruise is not going to be your thing, but so will be most land tours.

When you are the kind of person who likes comfort more than adventure, river cruises are the right thing.

For the rest, let it depend on the itinerary, see which tour visits the places you would like to see.
