Barry & Corinne jumped at the chance to check out the small South American country of Ecuador & the Galapagos Islands in this two part DVD.

Barry & Corinne landed in Quito, the capital, and first Spanish port settlement. After a city tour, they fly south to Cuenca, high up in the Andes & a charming colonial city. Corinne and the other ladies quickly discover the shopping opportunities. Visits are made to Santa Catalina, the 16th century convent, a mission museum & dazzling colonial churches. Their travels continue on a hilarious bus tour in remote mountain villages, where they watch panama hats being woven, Inca ruins, a colorful Indian market and then, the bus breaks down, leading to an impromptu party. One of their all time great travel memories! From here, the entire itinerary is re-written, using an ancient local bus with more on board fun, until finally returning to Quito.

In Part Two, no words can describe the last remaining Garden of Eden, some 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador, just south of the equator. The Galapagos Islands are so remote that the wildlife have no fear of man. Protected as a wildlife sanctuary, it is home to many rare species of animals & birds. Barry & Corinne visit several islands by boat, take nature hikes, swim with the sea lions and visit the Charles Darwin Center to pet 150 year old tortoises.
