health insurance abroad?
Question: health insurance abroad?
Can anybody help me i live on a canary island and am finding the spanish doctors not very helpful.
I know it does not help that my spanish is terrible and thats my fault. They dont seem to know what they are doing does anyone know if the deutch brittish clinics are also for residents and if so how would i go about getting private health insurance as im very worrid about my health.
(health insurance abroad)
Best answer:
Both the dutch and the brits have socialized medicine – free for their citizens, pay up front for non-citizens. A dutch friend of mine tells me, free medicine is horrible – anyone who CAN afford it, goes to a private doctor and pays cash.
They aren’t going to take insurance.
