Prevent Lost Bags With Luggage Shipping
luggage shipping
More travel tips on… www.petergreenberg.com With more and more airlines charging passengers to check bags, there’s never been a better time to look into services that will ship your luggage–and won’t give the airlines a chance to lose it. Shipping your bags does usually incur a higher cost than you might otherwise face, but think of all the time and headaches you’ll save bypassing the baggage carousel, not to mention the time you’ll save at check-in.

That’s not what he’s saying in the video. He’s suggesting using alternative services that will carry your luggage instead of having them on the plane. Also, airlines won’t let you bring carry on bags if they’re larger than a certain size. The compartments are designed to accommodate one bag at a certain size per rider per aisle.

I love the message in this video…
So, if its a holiday or the weekend and they don’t deliver, and you had an accident in your clothes, and no extra clothes, you’ll be running around bare naked.
I agree with him that it will sure save some time but if you want to be on the safe side, take a small carry on bag with you, supplying a few days of clothing, labtop, magazines, books, teeth accessories.

I think there is just a lot of paranoia about it, I have met very few people whose luggage has been lost and when it was it was recovered very quickly.
There are a lot of people who won’t label their luggage and who don’t follow procedures properly either which can cause delays in getting luggage where it is supposed to go. -

Flying in the US is a different experience. One time my flight was late and I was unable to board my connecting flight. But there was enough time to put my checked bag on board. Another time, my first flight arrived early, but my bag never came with me on my connecting flight. I understand why Americans have oversized carry-on baggage and it take 30mins to load a 737 when most other countries achieve this in 30 minutes.
